All,

I’ve been working to get a number of Apps working on my new install of Splunk 4.0.10 (I’m a new user to Splunk).  To speak to a specific example,  I downloaded and installed Splunk Globe (a 3.x App).  I have iglobe enabled and visible.  Although, in the App Manager, there are no configuration files.  Also, when I try to launch the iglobe apps, here's the error that comes up:

====================================

500 Internal Server Error

TypeError: 'NoneType' object is unsubscriptable

This page was linked to from http://old-pc:8000/en-US/app/gettingstarted/getstarted.

====================================

I'm having this problem with any App I install on my Splunk instance.  So, clearly I'm not doing something right.  Help with the above example will likely lead me to fix the other App problems.

So any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!!!
